Snow!

What did you do in the snow?

We woke up to snow on Saturday morning. The snow in the garden looked untouched and pristine and the birds were really busy on the feeders.

We went for a walk and as we got to Colliston Park it began snowing heavily with big snowflakes coming down light as feathers. There were dogs bouncing around in the snow chasing balls and families having fun making snowmen. The snowmen were such great characters. The lights were still lit on the Christmas tree on the island in the lake, so everything looked quite magical.

It was lovely and we followed it with a nice hot cup of tea and biscuits at the Makers Market at the Church Hall. It was still snowing when we came out, the snowflakes fluctuating between the big soft delicate flakes and tiny round ones that pitter pattered as they landed on my coat.
